Built to withstand the test of time, the powerful chain drive was originally designed to bear heavy loads and frequent use. It is our most economical option, and although noisier compared to its counterpart, (the belt drive), it may be the best choice for your home if you have an oversized or heavy wooden door. Our most popular drive mechanism, the belt drive automatic garage door openers will be the quietest on the market. If you have a room above the garage or just prefer to keep your system very quiet, the belt drive is the way to go! Built for most standard size/weight garage doors, these openers will come with all of the same technological and safety advances as the chain drive. When you are lacking in headroom above the garage door because the garage ceiling is low or the door is extra tall, we’ve got the solution for you! An alternative option to installing an overhead door opener is to use a jackshaft automatic door opener instead. The jackshaft openers will mount on the side of the garage door and will limit noise and vibration while raising and lowering the garage door. Our jackshaft wall-mount opener comes stock with:
